In 2002 Joe Schroeder wrote an article, OK, 12 page report on his predictions for the year 2007. Well guess what my fine fellow network marketing pro… That’s tomorrow!

I think Joe updated it some this year, but if you will read his prediction, you will KNOW why I have comepletely changed my thinking about mlm and all my other business activities. Even shutting down projects and websites, losing income by doing so, JUST to focus on what really matters.

 What matters?

You Do.

And if you think that is a bunch of bologna I suggest you go look in your fridge and take a good whiff.

If you can’t see what’s going on in this industry. Hell, in the WORLD… You’ve got to be living in a cave.

The movie Crash. The movie What the Bleep. Then this year the movie The Secret. It’s a movement and the network marketing industry is RIGHT SMACK IN THE MIDDLE of it.

So what does that mean to you? It means hype is out of the picture. It means promises of income is NO LONGER enough. People are fed up and more skepitcal than ever.

It means if you want to build a NETWORK, and that’s what we do, than you need to give people a REASON to be part of your network. People do not care about what you KNOW until they know how much you CARE.

If you have a hard time beliveing that go read The Science of Getting Rich. Read what it says about adding increase into everyone’s life you come in contact with. And how you MUST give them the impression that you are an advancing personality and putting increase into their lives.

Even if you have no plans to conduct any type of business transaction with that person.

In other words, you need to become as attractive as possible. But don’t take MY word for it. Read Joe Schroeder’s 2007 Prediction

 

You probably have your own list, right? And you know that part of having a list is having people unsubscribe. They unsubscribe for tons of reasons and it would be senseless to even try to list them here.

It’s just part of doing business, nothing personal right? WRONG. At least in this case, for me.

Now I am no super duper huge 100,000 optin list builder by any means. But this isn’t new to me either. I always have a few lists building at the same time so people unsubscribing is NO big deal. But this one person, this one REASON WHY he unsubscribed hurt.

He unsubscribed because he  no longer has ANY interest in mlm.

Whatcha mean no more interest in MLM? Your kidding, right? OK, at first I thought big deal. Your loss I guess. You know, my ego kind of took over. But then I got thinking about it.

Though I can’t control what a person wants to do in their life, I FAILED.

People quit network marketing everyday. I’ve done it. You’ve done it. USUALLY when that happens it’s because they are not making any money. Nope, it’s not easy, it’s not fast, and only the STRONG survive.

Welcome to the Jungle Baby!

But money CAN be made in this industry. So I failed this person. I failed to connect with him. I failed to inspire him. I failed to point him in the right direction.

If only he had emailed me. If only…

 

BEFORE you quit, call your upline. Call SOMEONE. Email them. Email me. Two heads are always better than one and there might be a solution you just don’t know about yet.

Every person that quits this industry means 100 MORE people believe we are full of crap. And I don’t like being told I’m full of crap, do you?

 

 

 

Let’s face it folks. We’ve all made dozens of New Year’s Resolutions that we haven’t followed through with. But this is the year of CHANGE. It’s that time of year again, time to turn over a new leaf and live life to it’s fullest. It’s time to resolve to actually SUCCEED in that home based business you’ve always dreamed of or whatever it is that you desire to do with yourself and your life.
