MLM List Building and Email Marketing Strategies

I am always talking about using content to build your mlm business. It’s a great way to generate your own mlm leads and more importantly, promote yourself. Obviously, the more you do, the more it works.

I even do weekly training calls open to all network marketers on Sunday nights to talk about what can be done and why it should be done.

My specialty, if I have one, is building several lists at the same time.

I talk about this on my calls: about article marketing, blogging, special reports you can publish, plus other things you can do with content. I even created the MLM Newsletter System for network marketers who want to publish their own generic newsletter, but aren’t quite sure how to start.

But the one thing I have not talked about is Squidoo. Of course I haven’t talked about YouTube either, but I have only published one video.

Not an expert there by any means. And besides, there is much to be said about the written word.

OK. Back to Squidoo. Squidoo allows you to build a mini website, or what they call Lenses, on pretty much any topic you choose. These lenses are designed to provide a gateway to information that someone is searching for.

For example, a list of links that are related to a subject, say… mlm! Squidoo allows visitors to rank your lens, and link to it. It’s like a social networking site for content providers.

If you write something, that’s content. If you publish it online, well that makes you a provider.

Doesn’t that just make you feel special? To be a provider?

Keep in mind that Squidoo lenses tend to rank well in search engines. They generate a fair amount of visitors, and also help sites that are linked to, from a Squidoo lens to rank well also.

Definately worth thinking about to help you with your network marketing business and downline building efforts.
